Victoria Falls is the home of the University of Maryland’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) campus. You can walk to college level classes right within your own community!
The goals of the program are to:
- Enhance the passion for lifelong learning opportunities for those 55 or better by integrating the OLLI program directly within the community.
- Expand service-learning options that provide opportunities for OLLI learners to acquire new knowledge and to apply that knowledge in a meaningful way to community needs.
The OLLI program at Victoria Falls is the first and only program of its kind to be located within a 55+ or better community. We are also proud to say that the Victoria Falls’ OLLI director lives right here in our community!
The OLLI program is just one more example of Victoria Falls’ commitment to the emotional, intellectual, spiritual, vocational and social well-being of our residents.
