2002-Best Environmental Community and Best Master Planned Community:

The Parke at Ocean Pines is proud to have been awarded the Best Environmental Community and Best Master Planned Community in 2002. The award program recognizes and acknowledges builders and developers who have displayed particular care and attention in maintaining, improving, and enhancing the environment as they proceed through the development and building process. Awards were given to recognize environmental protection efforts over and above the strict regulations and enforcement procedures of the counties, the State of Maryland, and the Federal Government.
